The Leaving Certificate Applied (LCA) programme in Youthreach Sligo is a two year programme, divided up into four sessions. Session 1 runs from September to the end of January, and session 2 runs from February to the end of June / early July in year 1. Year two is the same for sessions 3 & 4.
LCA is a very practical programme which is very hands on. It is based on a total of 200 credits over the two years. 200 credits = 100%.
To pass the programme you must achieve at least 120 credits (60%)
