I have worked in Youthreach Sligo since 2010.
I am a musician, largely self taught, who enjoys teaching music.
I remember what it was like being a teenager with no teacher and wanting to play the guitar, so I really like being able to help anyone who is in that same position.
I play and teach guitar, ukulele, keyboard and drums in the Centre. I also teach Leaving Cert. Applied music here.
LCA music is a really interesting course with great flexibility to steer it towards music that a learner has an interest in. It will also introduce learners to new ideas about music and new styles of music. This also makes it great fun to teach.
